Phoebe Fraunces

Phoebe was a spy who saved George Washinton's life. When she was 13 years old, her father, a free black merchant in New York, gave her an assingment of watching out for anyone who might want to kill the General. Mr. Hickey, a supposedly friendly bodyguard of the General. He gave many presents to Phoebe. When she gave June peas to the General that Hickey "stole" from the British, she immediatly found out that they were sprinkled with poison.
