Gilberth, Frank (dates unknown)

The first to propose workflow efficiency. Invented a device, called the cyclograph, which would allow him to photgraph the motions of factory workers. He would then analyze these, and recommend process changes to increase efficiency and reduce fatigue.

His process improvements were revolutionary, and touched nearly every industry. Operating rooms were changed, when Gilberth suggested that the doctor should not hunt around for the tools, but just ask for it by name, and have a nurse hand it to him.

Countless other industries were improved, from automobile manufacture to textiles, and on. Some complained that Gilberth was turning people into machines, but his process science forever changed the way business was done.
